Opening Ports

I'm using a couple upload programs that tell my I'm using a firewall or
router that is limiting my network traffic. I need to open up a port so
others can commect to me. The only thing I'm useing is XP Pro's firewall.
Does anyone have any ideas about how I would open a port? I have no clue how
to do this.

Click START
Click CONTROL PANEL
Click Windows Firewall

In the EXCEPTIONS list you can add/remove TCP/UDP ports there, but unless
you know which ports to open you will be stuck.
