Opening page

I am using Windows ME and IE 6.0.2800.1106. Yesterday I wrote about
having a problem with MSN.com as my opening page. When I click on many
links I get the message that they has moved. Click here.
I cahnged my home page and it works fine when I click on links.
What is the problem, especially with MSN.com?
Is there a later version of I E that I should be using?
Thank you

Blarney, please always reply to your original thread, don't start a new
thread with the same subject, and always include the previous message in
your reply.

As stated in my response yesterday, the problem is on MSN's end, not yours.
Copy/paste the following line into an IE Addressbar, click on GO, then
copy/paste the results into your reply:

javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion

The results will tell us if you have the most recent patches for IE6 SP1
installed.

If the site does redirects using META Refresh your security settings
could be causing this symptom. Try using the Default settings.

I put the address in the browser and got about 28 hits. What or which
of these do you want me to paste?

Copy/paste it into IE (not any other browser) and click Go. Copy *all*
shown and paste it into your reply.

Here is what came up when I put "javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion"
in

;SP1;Q822925;Q330994;Q828750;Q824145;Q832894;Q837009;Q831167;Q823353;Q867801;Q833989;Q834707;

That tells me you're currently up-to-date at Windows Updates (at least for a
non-WinXP machine).

Again, the problem is not on your end.
