When I double click on a new message, how can I set my options for the mail
message to open as a full window rather than a window within the window?

When I double click on a new message, how can I set my options for the
mail message to open as a full window rather than a window within the
window?

Open only *one* mail, then drag the edges of it with your mouse to full
screen, close it. All mail windows should now open to the size as you just
closed to.
