Opening MDB files

Do you need the full version of access in order to open and view
*.mdb files?

The runtime version (same program really, just with some functionality
inhibited) can "run" the file. That means open it and use it (look at data,
edit data, etc.). To look at the guts of the file (design view of code,
forms, reports), you need the fully licensed version.

VB 6.0 Pro has a quasi-usable database viewer utility.

For adding and editing records; I think that is the basic capabilities
of it.
