I can't open images anymore on my computer. I downloaded
eFax some time ago, and when I decided I didn't want it, I
found that it had corrupted my system. When I purged it,
for some reason it stayed in my files and folders. After I
thought I completely got rid of it, I found that I could
not click on image files anymore. I liked how easy it was
to right-click, and then open an image. I lost my Internet
Explorer tools to do this. How do I reinstall the proper
tools to be able to do this again?

eFax would have only taken over the associations for several image
file types, although you don't say what file types you have the
problem with.

Re associate the image files with whatever you were using before.
It is very unlikely that you need to reinstall anything and I do not
see that you need any "Internet Explorer Tools" (whatever that means).

Use Explorer-View-Folder Options-File Types

The path to Folder Options may vary according to your operating
system. It may be:
Explorer-View-Folder Options
Explorer-Tools-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Control Panel-Folder options.

If you do want to install something then try this:
IrfanView - Freeware Graphic Viewer:
http://www.irfanview.com/
It will allow you to easily do the associations and may be the easiest
way out.
