opening files & folders

When i double click to open a file or folder it brings up the search!! to
open files and folders i have to right click then scroll to open! it never
used to be like this can anyone tell me what has happened & how i can get it
back to normal????

Wes, I had this problem too. Started 2/3 days ago. Looked all over to
learn why and how to fix. Finally, tried this forum and "BANG", there it
was, second item after I did a forum search. I ran first of 3 recommended
fixes and am now fixed. Thanks for participation in this forum. The forum
process works. Phil
