Opening email attachments that are emails

I have a user who has Outlook 2003 and is using a Windows XP machine. He is
having issues viewing a specific kind of email attachment. Whenever he
receives an email attachment that is another Outlook email, he can never open
the attachment. He doesn't have issues with opening other attachments. Does
anyone know what I can do to fix this? I'd greatly appreciate any help on
this.

Thank you.

Google Desktop Search has this behaviour. Upgrade to the latest version or
disable the integration with Outlook. Is GDS required in your work
environment?

Hi Kathleen,

Thanks for your answer. Yes, this user does have Google Desktop Search so we
are going to do what you suggest. No, it isn't required of our work
environment but some of our users find it useful.

Thanks again!

It actually can cause more problems than it's worth when it comes to Outlook
sincei it's also been known to slow Outlook down if it's configured to
integrate with Outlook.

Since Outlook is critical to performing company business and GDS isn't, many
places don't allow it. We have a Group Policy that disallows the installation
of it here.

Wow! I didn't realize it could create so many issues. Thanks for your
information. You have been extremely helpful.

Thanks again,
Lauren
