Hi All,

Just a small problem I am having, before I had a collapse of Xp and had
to reinstall I had a fix installed so as when I opened windows explorer
it automatically opened the C drive rather than the silly default My
Documents.
For the life of me I cannot remember the process.
Could one of you kind people out there please tell me how to reinstate this.

TIA, Tony

Here you go:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe ,/e, c:\

Create a shortcut to explorer, right click, select prop., insert above in
Target.

Basically, all you need do is modify the target field of your
Windows Explorer shortcut to point where you want it. In your case,
"%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e ,c:\" (without the quotes) should do the
trick.

Alternatively, you could create a shortcut with a target of
"%windir%\explorer.scf."
