opening an attachment

Sometimes I get an email with an attachment that it does not allow me to
open. I keep getting the message:

Internet Explorer cannot download ...cda754d4ecef4fa2ce540e13532ec from
65.54.250.250.

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

I do not know what this means or how to fix it. Thanks

That is a Hotmail IP Address. Have you got a Hotmail Account and can you
access www.hotmail.com

I have a hotmail account and I can access it. Just sometimes when someone
sends me a attachment, I cant open because I get that message

Hello I've got the exact same problem. And yes its with Hotmail. I can't even
..doc documents. Now I've google around but all the "solutions" I've found so
far are so complicated, unclear and dangerous (if you do a false manoeuvre
you're basically screwed) that I don't even want to attempt to fix this
problem! Do you have any clear directions to fix this problem?
I've also unchecked my "do not save encrypted pages to disk" in the internet
options, advanced. But still nada.
This is the message I get "Internet Explorer was not able to open this
Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.
Please try again later."
and then something similar to the person above with long numbers and letters.
Please please please, help me!!
