Opening Access asks for Disc 2?!

Running Windows 2000 (SP4 & all post SP4 patches), with Disc 1 & 2 of Office
2000 Premium (SP3 and post SP3 patches) installed to run from my computer.
If I go to Start-Open Office Document and attempt to open an existing Access
DB it opens no problem. If however, I got to Start-Programs-Access & attempt
to open the same DB, I get the installer screen asking me to insert Disc 2 of
Office from CD! If I uninstall Disc 2, both of the above work perfectly. As
my users dont have CD-ROM access & still need the software on Disc 2, can
anyone tell me what's wrong and how to resolve it please?

Many Thanks in advance,

Chris.

As a work around, you may want to do an administrative install of Office,
patch that install to the current patch level, then install your users from
there. The advantage of this is that they can access features that may not
be currently installed without needing the CDs. Also, if they need to do a
repair, they can. It also gives them access to the clip art which, by
default, is left on the CD.
