Opening a Word Document iin a Frame

I created an horizontal split Frame page. I want on the top of the frame to
open a word template so users can save under another name as a word file. On
the bottom frame as a regular web page I have instructions about how to fill
out the word template on word. I have tried several ways but no one produces
the result I want because the top frame does not allow to save the file as a
word file. Is it a way for doing that?

Let me suggest an alternative approach:

1. make the Word document into an HTML page on another
page on your site.

2. add an Include Page component (see Front Page help) to
the page you asked about. The included content will be
the page that contains the HTML version of the Word
template. The other portion of that page will contain
your current instructional information.

3. now for the download part of your question. Create a
ZIP version of your Word template. Import it into your
Front Page. Create a link to the ZIP file on the page in
question.
