opening a spreadsheet

Help!! I am trying to open a ss that is 76Kb. It acts as
though it is opening, scrolling across the task bar as it
reads the data and then all I get is a grey window that
says 'ready' on the bottom bar. I can not view any data,
yet I can print out the sheet. I sent the ss to another
computer and they were able to view it, they renamed it
and sent it back to me and still when I go to open it all
I receive is a grey window. Any ideas???

Try window|Arrange|tiled and resize by hand.

Try opening a blank instance of excel first and then open
the spreadsheet from within this blank instance.

Have you tried to use "Unhide" under the Window menu?
