Opening a presentation and some pages are blank

A colleague emailed a Powerpoint presentation to me. It is a 70 page
presentation and 7 pages were blank. Everyone else can view the information
on the pages except for me. The information on the pages are spreadsheets
that were pasted in as pictures. I can not figure out why these few pages
are blank on my system.
 
Go to Help|Check for Updates and install the latest service pack for Office.
