Opening a document

When I attempt to open a saved document, I get the
dialogue box that says that the file is not available. I
just installed MS Office Professional Edition 2003. I
did not have this problem with my previous Word version.
You can open a new document in Word, create a document
and then save it. When you go back to open the document,
it says its not available, yet the name is there under
the documents.

Can someone please help me?
 
Hi, Johnna. If you are running Norton Antivirus, try disabling the Office Plugin that comes with it. The option is usually under something like Start | Programs | Norton | Options | Miscellaneous.
