Opening a 2003 application in 2007 in design view

I have an application that was created in Access 2003. The developer
tightened up the security, so I can't open it in design view. We're now
using Access 2007, and are having a few problems that I need to fix. I seem
to remember that in Access 2003 you could open an application while holding
down a function key and it would open the application in design view. Is
there something similar in 2007?

If the developer used an MDE to tighten security, you will need to find
someone to duplicate the database as an MDB. If he added a password, you'll
need to find a password crack. If he just hide the database container,
holding down the shift key while opening the database will allow you to see
the objects.
