Open With...

Hey guys,

Recently my windows XP has stopped letting me open files in any program I
choose. If I have a file with an unknown extension, and I choose "open
with...", it will instantly open the file in Notepad without giving me the
option to choose from a list.

Is there a known fix for this?

Clicking the "Open With" or "Choose Program..." option always opens the file
