Open With multiple entries

Right clicking on a jpg brings up Open With. Why are
there 2 identical entries for a particular viewer? Is
there a way to remove one of them? I can click on either
of them and it launches the correct program.

There are two - jepg and jpg. If the OS is set for only jpg, a jepg will ask
the question.
