open windows explorer where I want it to

Doug

Could someone tell me how to make windows explorer in xp pro open to the
folder of my choice? I am tired of having to start from the desktop ,
computer, c:\
I would like it to open to the c:\"and what ever folder I want"
I had someone tell me how to do this in Vista, but when I try to apply these
same
settings to xp it almost work. One problem is you lose the left pane.

Thanks,
Doug

Hi Jeff, That was it, but I can't get it to open up to my folder(Doug)
In the address bar it shows c:\
I want it to open to c:\Doug
In the Target I have explorer /e,select,c:\Doug
What is it that I am missing? I have a picture of screen that
I am looking for but I don't know how to get it to you if needed.

Thanks,
Doug

This is a .Net programmer's news group and is not a Windows Operating System
news group, like Microsoft.Public.Windows.XP.General is where you should
post your XP question.
