open remote .exe

I have a shortcut on my desktop that launches a .exe file on my local server.
The problem I'm trying to overcome is the file download warning you receive
when launching the .exe from the server. I would like to be able to always
open these files without the necessary step of saying "open". Is this
possible? Also I would like to make one of the .exe files open minimized
automatically after I get the .exe to open without warning me. This one .exe
file is in the startup group so I'm not launching from a icon like the othere
..exe files. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'll answer my own post......Found if I mapped the drive that had the .exe
file to a server name and not an ip address, that the pop up warning would
not show up. Don't think I can make it start minimized though with it in a
start up group though.
