Open page automatically

When I switch on my computer and immediately completing the start up, a IE page is automatically opened and looking for a site no longer valid. How do I stop this? Please advise. Thanks.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

Thanks for advice. Tried the softwares and got rid of some scumwares. But the opening of that page is still happening after switching on PC. Some other issues were repaired (can't change home page). Please advise again. Thanks.
