open mdb file from IE

I have a web page that links to a Access file in mdb format. Windows IE
will not open the file, when I try to open it I get the file download -
security warning
do you want to open or save this file?
If I try to open, I get another warning, do you want to save this file..
The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default program. It is
either corrupted or it has an incorrect file type. As a security
precaution, it is recommended that you cancel the download.

How do I open this file? The file is not corrupted, as I can open it from
the run line or double click it.

Choose to save it and then open it after it's finished saving. If
needed, right click on the link and choose Save Target As...
