"Open in New windows" doesn't work anymore ...

Hi everyone.
my browser is no more able to open urls on a new
window. It just opens a window which remains blank
(transparent), and remains waiting ...
I tried to fix it up following MS KB# 281679, but nothing changed.
I also tried to fix the installation of IE, through
Control panel -> Install applications, but it doesn't worked.

I'm working with Win98se and IE 6sp1.

After many trials, I've solved everything following this address:
http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm

using command "sfc" from start->run I replaced the 'corrupted'
file 'oleaut32.dll'. Now everything works fine again.
