Open in new window option does not work

After installing Stopzilla, the open in new windows
option stoped to work.
I uninstalled Stopzilla but the problem remains.
Every time that a program tries to open a new window, the
computer freezes for a couple of minutes and then comes
back to the original window, not to the new window it was
supposed to open.
 
Probably simplest is to do a System Restore to before Stopzilla was
installed. Start>All Programs>
Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
