Open - Htm not all files

Everytime I try to "Open" an htm file I have to wade through "All Files."
How do I have only htm files show when I click "Open." Where's that option?
Can't find it. Thanks.

Right below where it says; All Files.
But, normally you'd File | Open Site ... not an individual file.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

Rob, I was aware of what you're referring to but get tired of doing that
each time I want to open a file. I thought there was a way to get around
that.

Steve, I use FP 2003 just for programming my htm files. I use a linux server
(no FP extensions) and don't use FP to manage my site(s) at all. I'm fairly
familiar with FP 2003 but am getting tired of getting "All Files" each time
I want to open a file. Guess I'll have to live with it.

All of my sites are on Linux servers also, but I still have a web site / web directory for
each site on my machine.

I have folders for all my sites. I just don't use FP to manage them. I like
FP for tables and layers. I used FP at one time for managing them but but
ran into problems so I quit. It will manage things, at times, when I don't
want it to. Pros and cons to both ways.

You still need a "web" for your disk based site. FP manages this for you
like it or not - regardless of the server ext on the server.
So you need to keep each site separate in a 'web' (should be shown as a
folder, with a blue world globe).

And so you Open > Site and choose the *web* click open, then Open File, and
it should be listing only those files in that web.
To tidy up things a bit I suggest putting various files in sub folders eg
separate your images from the 'root' folder in a folder called "images". I
couldn't be sure that you're not already doing this, which is why I suggest
it.

Andrew, as mentioned above I don't use FP for anything but programming my
htm files. I don't open a web I open a htm file or create one. I upload
with WS_FTP. I tell it where to put my files and the paths to use. It
doesn't tell me. At times, it tries but I do otherwise.

It must be a pita working that way.
