I have a simple form that has buttons to open and run several different
reports. I would like this form to display automatically when the database is
opened. What is the proper code for performing this?
Note: In the future, when posting to these newsgroups, it would be in
your best interest to include your Access version number. It may make
a difference in the response. For example, what may work in Access
2007 may not work in previous versions, and vise versa.
Access 2003 or older?
Click on Tools + StartUp
Select the name of the form you wish to open in the
Display Form/Page
drop-down box.
In Access 2007?
Open the database in design mode. Click on the Office button.
Click the Access Options button at the bottom of the window.
Click Current Database.
Set Display Form to the form you want to display when the database
opens
