Open form at specific time or day

Greetings all,
I have a database with several forms. One form is a reminder form, that
pulls info from a query based on a date field. Basically if something is
older than 60 days it shows up on this query and in the form in datasheet
view.

What I would like is to be able to set it so the form automatically opens
every, say 30 days. Even if I don't open the database at all within those 30
days, if that makes sense. For example, I open the database on January 2,
15, 23, and on the 30th I open it and the form opens because it is the 30th
day from when I set it to open. I am not very familiar using the on timer,
and time interval events if that's even where I should start.

Another option that might work for me that I have been toying around with is
using my switchboard's on timer to have the form open. I used a macro to
open the form and for testing it opens every 30 seconds, how can I make it so
the form only opens once? If it opens once and somebody closes it I don't
want it to keep opening, but I want them to be able to still have the
switchboard open. Also along those lines if I use the on timer event and
time interval does that time keep counting down when the db is closed too?
or only when it is open? I would assume only when it's open but I've been a
mule more than once.

Any help is always appreciated, sorry for writing such a long saga.

Boyd, this is absolutely awesome. I was able to tweak my db perfectly based
on this. Thank you for your help!!! You are a kind, kind man.
