Open Dialog box modification

When I click on "Open" in a MS-Word document a pop up dialog box opens. On
the left hand side of this box are five thumbnails (History, My Documents,
Desktop, Favorites, and My Network Places). Is there any way to modify those
thumbnails so that I can replace one with a folder pointing to a specific
spot on a network drive where my files reside. This would be a big help!

Thanks in advance

If you are using this folder most of the time for your documents, you can
always open Word, click "Tools", "Options", click the "File Locations" TAB,
click the top option and click the "Modify" button and browse to and select
this folder. Now whenever you click "File", "Open" it will use this folder
as your default.
