Open database without having MS Access loaded on pc

Is there any way to create a MS Access database so that you do not need MS
Access installed on a pc to run it?

I am creating a database for work that will be used by multiple people on
different machines and was wondering how these people could access it from
their pc without having to install MS Access on their machines.

I tried creating pages using the HTML editor on MS Access 2003 but was not
having much luck.

Nothing special but might need some tweaking if you did not develop the
databse in Access 2007.

Yes, you will need to ensure you have a startup form or autoexec macro
defined. There are a few other things to be aware of but nothing to
serious.

You can do a test on your own system by creating a shortcut with the
path and name of msaccess.exe then your path and name of your accdb
file, likely both in quotes due to spaces in the folder structure or
file name and then "/runtime".

underlying tables, forms, macros, etc from this runtime version which is a
nice security feature.

For testing purposes I would put "c:\program files\micrisift
office\office11\msaccess.exe" "c:\msaccess\testdb.mdb" "/runtime"

Yes. Note the following:

I finally got approval to install the runtime and so far it looks great.

When i open my database I get a security warning - Is there anything i can
do so that my system knows this is a trusted database?

Look for that message on either Jeff Conrad or Allen Browne's website.
They'll tell you how to get around this problem.
