Hello,

I have a problem with one of my users. He uses outlook 2003 with the
lastest patches and has 2 personal data files (1,2GB and 1,7 GB).

When he launches Outlook, it takes sevaral minutes before outlook is
ready and connected.

Without these data files, outlook runs fine.

Any idea to solve this issue ?

Thanks

Jean-Pascal

The data files are both unicode files and not a carry over from an earlier
version of outlook & thus ansi files?
You've run scanpst.exe against these files?

its probably checking the consistency of the pst files. Do you have any
utilities that are accessing outlook data? if you start outlook using the
/safe switch, does it start faster?
