OPEN CONTAINING FOLDER

What is the "open containing folder"? I noticed that this folder was
copying my personal files. Is someone actually collecting this
information and transporting it somewhere else?

Where (or how) do you see this?

I installed a Power Toy from Win95 called Target Context Menu. For
shortcuts, this gives me a Target submenu in the pull-down context menu.
One of the submenu items is Open Container. Selecting this opens the
folder (container) containing the target of the shortcut.

Where did you see this? In Search there is an option to "open containing
folder". It means to open the folder where the file you searched for
lives. So if you searched for a file that was in your My Documents and
you clicked "open containing folder" naturally you would see all your
stuff.

If this isn't what you meant, please post back with a better explanation
of what you are seeing. Here is a link to help you craft the next
