Open and Save

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to add a folder to the shortcut list on
the left side of
a Save and Open dialogue box.

You can do it in Microsoft Office but I've never found a way in XP.

You can do that in TweakUI > Common Dialogs. TweakUI is available from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp.
