Open an edit form using a combo selection

Hi All,

I have a toolmaster table. I have created a Addtooling form which will allow
new entries to be saved to the table.

Question:

How to create a Edit form incase i need to edit existing values in my
toolmaster table. I have a main form were i select the corresponding tool and
a subform displays with the corresponding transaction values getting
calculated.


When i select my combo box and press a button called edit contacts. How can
i display the corresponding values.

Eg. Selected a tool - ET3 how can i display ET3 records for editing.

I had my combo box on a seperate form and called a query selecting the
specific record from a combo box it works how to do this opening a dialog
window and editing the contents.

Thanks for you patience in reading this post. Any help would be greatly

I seem to have been going in circles when the solution was right in front of
me. I was able to call up an edit form from the main form. I just needed to
use my common sense !!!!
