Open a database via an email link

How do I write the HTML code to create a link in an email to open an access
database? Not sure if this belongs in this group or in the outlook group but
I
figured I would start here. I can create links but I can't figure out out to
create the code to open a database via a hyperlink.
 
You have to work out how to change the mdb file association from 'download'
to 'msAccess.exe' in your mail client.

Also, you will need to be on the same network, or on the same VPN,

Also, if it's not on a local network, it will be too slow to be usable.

Any idea how to work out this change? I'm not that knowledgeable with this
type of code.
 
No, I don't know much about mail clients.

And it will have to be done on the PC of each person who receives the mail.
