Link to a Record in an Email

Hey Everyone,

In my application, I have an event, that sends an Email. The
recipient of that email is tasked with accomplishing a particular
task. I was wondering if its possible to link directly to the Record
that needs his attention, by creating a hyperlink if you will in the
body of the email.

Can individual records in an access database be referred to as
hyperlinks. I know they can be, from within the progrm itself, sort
of like clicking on NEW opens a form for entering a new customer. But
can I similairly refer to them from an outlook email.

The reason I'm asking is the person who is being sent these emails,
isnt always the most technologically savy person and I've had a hard
time getting him to put down the Franklin planner and user the
technology...

No.
Unless you publish your data on some web pages.

I would put the information right in the email.

Thanks, thats what I figured. I may still get somewhere because my
tables are all stored on SharePoint. So I could potentially get a web
address there, but I'm not sure how I would programtically input that
into the email. How would access know what the address would be for
that particular record? Is there a pattern I could exploit..

I'd suggest re-asking your question and put in SharePoint in the
subject. You may get some folks such as Albert Kallal who are
familiar with SharePoint then looking at your posting.
