Open a Appleworks Document in Word

I doubt it....cross-posting to the MacWord group even though it's not
technically a MacWord question.

I am pretty sure that MacWord 2004 will open AppleWorks, and that
AppleWorks will let you save as .rtf if not .doc.

Context? Anyone using AppleWorks ought to know better than to be
sending those documents around.
