Only the first page shows when I insert file in Word doc

I am creating a document with other existing files (Word docx files) linked
to it. However, when I link a two page file to the main document, only the
first page of the linked file is showing. What is the problem and how do I
overcome it?

Presumaby you are inserting the document as an object. Objects cannot span
pages. Use instead an IncludeText field. The IncludeText field will require
updating if changes are made in the source document.
