only start in safe mode

i have vista and wont start only in safe mode then when i restart it seems to
be ok as i am new to this does any one know whats the matter

when it doesnt start normally what exactly happens?
do you see the hard disk light go on and off and your screen is blank or
what?

Why did you post three threads about this issue? You haven't answered
anybody's request for information and until you do so you will not receive
any help from them.
If you are a legitimate poster and you do not want help here I suggest
you either call HP or take the computer back to where you bought it for
replacement or repair.

the green light doesnt come on at all think could have a missing or corrupt
file says to put disc in but nothong happens, so i cant even fix with dics,
looks like a trip to the cp shop
