Only show the recipients name not their address in sent e-mails

I want to protect all the addresses of those I send e-mails to. How do send
E-mails and show only their name in the 'to' field and not their e-mail
address as well

Put the addresses in the Bcc field instead.
 
....Send the message to yourself. Place all your friends addresses in the
BCC field. They will only see their own name on their copy of the email.
All the others are hidden.
