only server has a major problem

After you enter your password it looks as if it will work. But then nothing
comes up. No icons, no startbar. I have tried cntrl alt del and nothing.
This is a 2000 server and is our exchange and AD server. Everything is still
working I just can't change anything or view it?!? I have done a repair and
got nothing. I need to make some configurations and have no way of doing it.
Please help

Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to get the Task Manager, then start
explorer.exe as a new process.
