Only Receive Emails from Certain Contacts

S

Sarah

Several of my friends (who were listed as contacts) said they had send me
emails, but I never received them. I would only receive their emails to me
(dating several years back to present) when I sent them an email.

I've already lost out on a job opportunity because I did not receive their
email. I've checked my yahoo account, as well as my junk emails - they are
no where to be found. PLEASE HELP!!

Go to Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties,
make sure the box for "Include this account..." is checked.
Also, go to Tools, Options, enable the option "Check for new
messages every 10 minutes."

Tools | Junk E-mail Options.
Make sure it is not set to delete junk mail and then look over the Junk
E-mail folder before deleting its contents.

I tried the above changes (i.e. "include this account" and the "update
every 10 minutes") and unfortunately neither solved my problem.

I think it is important to note that I have to email certain contacts
for their emails to me be placed in my in-box. So if I know that Bob
sent me an email, and I didn't get it, I would send Bob and email, and
then suddenly his earlier emails to me appear in the inbox!

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Sarah

Then check you Junk E-mail Options.
You have changed something from the default choices.
