I have a workgroup of multiple pc's and laptops. There is one laptop that i
can access from only one system but no other system can access that laptop.
The local security policy (Access this computer from network) is set for
everyone.

Norton Antivirus 2006 is running on it and windows firewall is disabled
becuase of the Antivirus.

If this problem is because of Antivirus then how can one computer access
this laptop.

I am getting this error:

\\computername is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you
have access permission.

Logon Failure: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at
this computer.

I know this is a common problem which can be due to security policy or
Anitvirus but i have tried to disable antivirus also but still same problem.

Thankx!

This is a well known problem, and is reasonably easy to resolve.
