only one sheet tab shows up

Recently Excel has begun showing one giant sheet tab, and not all of it
either. I found a thread from a few years ago, tired everything that was
suggested (tool/options/show sheet tabs, and resizing the horizontal scroll
bar) and nothing works. Does anyone know what may have happened, and how I
can get back to showing a nice little "Sheet1" etc? Any help will be much
appreciated.
 
Right-click on Desktop and Properties>Appearance>Advanced>Item>ScrollBar.

What's the setting there?

Usually around 18 or so.

You should be noticing the large size in other places also but this is all I can
think of.

That worked. It was on 13. You rock!
 
Good to hear you're sorted out.

Good guess on my part.

Curious though.....with my computer resolution 13 would be quite small.

Either 13 is a typo or your resolution is quite different from mine at 1024 x
768
