only get recycle bin on screen

i hope someone can help me.
i have created the example run time image as shown in the msdn article

it all installs ok on the target device, but i only get a recycle bin
on the desktop. an no START button in the corner.

i have already tried many different settings in the 'user interface
core' settings.

Hi Alan,

I assume that you followed the "User Interface Core" settings on the msdn
link. What other settings did you try? Do you get any error(s) or warning(s)
after dependency check (that you might have ignored)?

Did you check the User desktop folder .Is this repeating for another
build ?
There seems to be some user interface dependency missing but normally
it shouldnt..Did you compare it with some working Images.
