only allow advancing of slide show with mouse click

is it possable to mimic kiosk mode when viewing on the web?
or to disable all page advancing via keyboard or scrollwheele?

To some extent, yes. It requires using a commercial add-in, and animations
aren't supported. We have an add-in that does at least some of this. There's
a free demo at http://www.pptools.com/ppt2html/

There other products (Articulate comes to mind) that convert PPT to Flash,
which might work well too.
