online storage for data files

Can anyone recommend somewhere to backup my data prior to attempting a
recovery? The CD write is not working and I am stuck. I have read about
online storage but not too sure which one to use.

Most ISP's give you a certain amount of storage space. I would look into
that first.

The available choices are often different depending on how much you have to
back up. How much do you have?

Backing up how much?
If a few of gigs - you would be better off going and buying an external
USB/firewire hard disk drive. Then when you are done - you can even have a
proper backup scheme in place.
