Scott

I'm trying out OneCare. I have three computers at home. No router.
Cable connect direct to serving computer and hub to other two. When
firewall is on one computer has internet access and the other one
doesn't. Need to disable the firewall in order to get both machines on
the 'net. Any suggestions? Thanks.. Scott.>

Is OneCare on the machine that the others connect through? If so:
Double click the OC icon in the systray to open it.
On the left under Other Tasks click "View or Change Settings".
Click the Firewall tab Advanced Settings button.
Under the Programs List tab make sure any programs used for your connection
are not blocked.
Under the Ports and Protocols tab make sure only ports needed are open and
if not listed you can add the one/s you need. If you're unsure click the
link "When should I add......." for info.
