Thank you,
Peter

Unless you're a BETA tester and have a machine to BETA test on, NO!

No don't do it, better still implement YouCare since You can't go wrong, and
if you do you can go straight to the complaints department, You.

Beta software is meant for testing purposes only. Do you want to make a
Guinnea Pig out of your computer?

There are FREE AV software titles that are available that are fully
developed. Try AVG and Avast!

No. Who would you rather trust to maintain *your* computer and the
security of *your* data, a faceless corporate entity, or yourself?

I just woke up from a nap. Did hell freeze over or something while I
was napping? :)

Why the surprise? Haven't I always advocated the responsibility of the
individual to safeguard his own interests, as well as accepting
responsibility for the consequences of his own decisions?

"a faceless corporate entity"

Never quite like that, Bruce. Sounds much more like my turn of a
phrase, than yours. But do keep it up.

Beta software should never be installed on a production machine - that
is a machine you want to get work done with. It should only be used in
a testing environment for which you are ready to accept the risk of the
system getting messed up by the Beta software.

Additionally there are some problems with OneCare. There are some nice
features to it and the concept is good, but for one thing the anti-virus
is substandard.
