I believe I have a virus in the boot sector of my Dell Dimension 450
since everytime I boot a small smiley face appears along the botto
left side of the screen. I scanned the drive with NortonAV (with th
latest Def. files) using another PC and plugging the hard drive in as
slave. Norton came up with fourty two hits for viruses, which
quarantined and deleted, but I tried the drive again and the smile
face was still there. I also tried doing a repair of the OS (Window
XP Home) but it will not complete saying an entry point could not b
located in the Dynamic Link Library. I would rather not re-install th
OS if possible. Does anyone know how I can remove this virus
