Is it possible to get rid of two of these headings, ADMINISTRATOR, ALL USERS, or JOHN DOE
Trying to clean up a bit. Only one person will ever have access to these computers. One with
HOME and the other with PRO.

Since you don't say from where you want to get rid of these things, I'm
assuming you see these in the profile folders.

All Users and Administrator are standard profile folders.
Admininstrator is a standard ID and cannot be (nor should be) deleted.

John DOe probably related to an ID called John Doe. Delete this
unwanted ID in the User ID administration tools.

Recommend you not mess around with profile files/folders until you learn
more about it.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Administrator and All User are important system files. Xp is a multi-user
system based on Windows 2000/NT.

Read.

Start with reading the articles in Windows "help" about system
adminstration, permissions, etc. Lots of material available to you.
Also, visit a library or bookstore and peruse through the available books.

Probably some web sites available that describe all this, but I don't
know of any to pass on. I find books better for learning.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
