I was wondering if it is possible to use the same Vista Home Premium 64x
edition and boot it from 2 hard drives (on the same computer, mind you) and
make each hard drive bootable.

Hi,

The standard license is for one installation on one computer. So, from that
perspective, no you cannot. From a technical aspect, it's possible though
the second install will require a phone activation.

My experience is that when you boot back to the first install you will again
have to activate. There is only one activation code available for one key
and the second install on a different HD with a different serial number
probably will result in the need for another activation. Good luck, I
didn't have any.

On a Mac it's easy, just install the OS on each drive, done.

OSX doesn't have activation. Smart!
